Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center, Eugeniusz Piasecki University School of Physical Education and the Fit4Work project cordially invite to the 1st Fit4Work workshop, organized as a side-event to the AAL Forum 2014 in Bucharest.
The Fit4Work project is aimed at developing an innovative easy-to-use and unobtrusive system that will support older workers and the relevant stakeholders in reducing and managing physical mental stress resulting from their occupation. By incorporating state-of-the-art ICT building blocks, the system will provide ambient ways of monitoring physical and mental activities at work. Smart algorithms will use the information thus collected to provide context-sensitive personalized recommendations for adjusting the workplace and behavior at work, as well as define mid- and long-term lifestyle plans to meet the demands of the work taking into consideration the worker’s age.
The first workshop organized by the Fit4Work project is devoted to the discussion around the topic of healthy occupation of older adults
and empowering them (and their potential employers) with adequate technological (AAL) solutions
in order for them to be able to manage their occupational health on their own and thus prolong
their active participation in the professional lives.
The objectives of the workshop are as follows:
